Our Employees
Lycoming is developing a workforce of exceptionally talented people - high-achieving, passionate, and accountable. These people underpin Lycoming's ability to achieve industry-leading operating performance, nurture strong customer relationships, and drive growth into the future. Lycoming is dramatically improving the capabilities of employees at all levels, assessing and aligning people at all levels - and charting development plans to help them achieve their personal best. Lycoming is doing this through Textron Six Sigma, a disciplined, data-driven process designed to eliminate waste, reduce variation and drive growth.

Diversity Mission:
It is the mission of Lycoming’s Diversity Team to foster a workplace culture where employee differences are respected and valued, and where opportunities exist for all employees to realize their full potential.
Lycoming Employees Care:
The commitment and dedication of Lycoming employees extends beyond the factory walls and into the community. Whether it’s the Christmas is for Children Toy Drive, the Susquehanna 500 “Mini-Indy” and on-site blood drives for the American Red Cross, Relay for Life and Daffodil Day for the American Cancer Society, the United Way Campaign, or many other worthy causes, Lycoming employees are always ready to pitch in and reach out.

Lycoming Volunteers at the United Way’s “Day of Caring” Event
Lycoming employees participate in the annual United Way “Day of Caring.” This event mobilizes hundreds of local people to show their concern for others through community service and volunteering. Lycoming employees painted a picket fence around the Valley View Nursing Home.
Susquehanna 500 “Mini-Indy”
For the 10th year, Lycoming Engines participates in the Susquehanna 500 Mini-Indy race, a 3-day fundraising event to benefit the local chapter of the American Red Cross.
“Christmas is for Children”
Every December, Lycoming Engines conducts its annual “Christmas is for Children” program, donating gifts to needy children served by Lycoming County Children and Youth Services. A Christmas tree holds tags with children’s names, and Lycoming employees select a tag and purchase gifts based on the age and “request” of the child.
