Lycoming salutes the champions who make Lycoming their Power of Choice

Michael Goulian is a jaw-dropping aerobatic pilot and has thrilled fans for more than two decades. Michael takes to the sky in his custom-built ABS.TV Extra 300SHP aircraft that's powered by a new Competition Series AEIO-580 Thunderbolt Engine. His Thunderbolt cranks out 350 horsepower to hit top speeds of 260 mph and can handle up to 10 Gs.

Sean D. Tucker flew his first airshow in 1976 and has thrilled thousands of fans ever since. As the world's leading civilian airshow pilot and performer, he's a living legend in aviation. Tucker flies a one-of-a-kind Oracle Challenger II biplane that's powered by a customized Lycoming AEIO-540 engine. The fuel-injected engine produces more than 400 horsepower and has fuel and oil systems designed for inverted flight and aerobatic maneuvers.
