Put Lycoming Engines into Your Fleet and "Lycoming Bucks" into your pocket.
If you operate five or more Lycoming engines, you may qualify for a rebate on your engine purchases.
Get in on it today!
Here are the basics of the Program.
How many Lycoming engines must I operate?
All fleet operators must be operating under US FAR Part 91, 135 or 141 certification (or International Equivalent), and must operate at least 5 Lycoming engines. To qualify as a
large fleet operator, you must operate a minimum of 12 Lycoming engines and purchase
a minimum of 3 Lycoming engines every eighteen (18) months.
How do I enroll in the Program?
Just ask your Lycoming Distributor for the Fleet Operator Enrollment Form, or download the form here (.pdf): Fleet Operator Enrollment Form
Give your completed form back to your Distributor, who in turn will submit it to Lycoming for review. Final resolution as to the Fleet Operator's qualifications will be made by the Lycoming Regional Sales Manager responsible for the region in which your fleet is based.
Who handles my fleet transactions?
All fleet transactions for engine purchases and warranty parts are handled directly by the Lycoming Distributor of your choice. You submit your engine order and requested delivery schedule to your Distributor, who in turn forwards it to Lycoming. Engine deliveries can be rescheduled, and in some cases, cancelled. Ask your Distributor for specific details.
Are my fleet engines covered under warranty?
Yes. All engines sold by Lycoming are backed by a factory warranty for parts and labor.
Please refer to Lycoming's warranty policy for details.
After I purchase an engine, do I have to complete any paperwork? When does Lycoming issue the Lycoming Bucks, and to whom?
Within 90 days of any engine purchase, complete the Rebate Request Form (provided to you by your Distributor, or downloaded here (.pdf): Rebate Request Form) and submit it to Lycoming, along with a copy of the original engine invoice. Upon receipt, Lycoming will issue Lycoming Bucks directly to the fleet operator. The total value of the Lycoming Bucks rebate is based on the payout schedule, as shown on the facing page.
Are there any restrictions on my fleet's exchange cores?
Yes. Exchange cores must be complete and in operating order, and must contain one of the serial numbers listed on the Fleet Operator Enrollment Form (pdf). Exchange cores must be received by Lycoming - either at the factory or one of its consolidation points in Australia or Belgium - within 120 days from the date of invoice. Lycoming Bucks will be issued only upon receipt of cores within this time period. (For additional information regarding cores, see Lycoming's current engine price list.)
Does Lycoming need to know how many fleet engines I intend on ordering in a given year?
Yes. You are required to provide your Distributor with an annual forecast of your anticipated engine requirements. This helps the factory to schedule its parts ordering, and assures timely completion and shipping of your engine purchases. Should you have a need for engines, over and above those on the approved schedule, Lycoming will make every effort to provide these engines on a timely basis.
What happens if I don't order any engines?
From date of enrollment or date of last purchase, if no engine orders are received from a regular fleet operator within a twenty four (24) month period, the operator will no longer qualify for the Rebate Program. Large fleet operators are required to order a minimum of three (3) engines every eighteen (18) months.
