Publications

Lycoming furnishes service, repair and maintenance information in the form of Overhaul Manuals, Operator's Manuals, Illustrated Parts Catalogs, and various System, Accessory, and Instruction documents. Lycoming Service Letter SL-L114AU (PDF) "Reciprocating Aircraft Engine and Accessories Maintenance Publications" , which lists specific available Lycoming support publications with prices and ordering information, is revised and updated on a regular basis.

In addition to the standard support publications, Lycoming provides special service information, as required, in the form of Service Bulletins, Service Letters, and Service Instructions. Lycoming SSP-206 "Service Bulletins, Letters, and Instructions Index" lists these special publications, both alphabetical and by engine model application.

Lycoming support publications and subscription/revision services are available from Lycoming Distributors or direct from the factory in hard copy, microfiche or CD format.

Service Bulletins

Service Bulletins describe procedures that must be observed for safety reasons. They are readily identifiable by the Mandatory Service Bulletin heading printed in red.
